How We
Work

Most staffing firms send CVs. We deliver ready-to-deploy engineers who have been selected, assessed, and prepared for the specific environment they are walking into.

Here is how we do it.

Step 1

Understanding the Need Every engagement starts with a direct conversation. We want to understand not just the technical requirements, such as PLC platform, robot brand, project scope, but also the context. What is the team like? What is the timeline pressure? What is the working culture on-site? This is the information most agencies never ask for, and it is the reason their placements fail.

Step 2

Expert Selection We do not recruit from job boards. Our network of over 400 selected professionals has been built over 23 years of direct project work in the automation industry. When a client need comes in, we match it against our network based on three criteria:

Technical fit:
Does this expert have the specific platform knowledge, industry experience, and project history required?
Motivational fit:
Is this expert genuinely interested in this type of work right now? Are they available, engaged, and ready to commit for the full duration?
Team fit:
Will this person integrate well into the client’s environment? We assess working style, communication patterns, independence, and behavior under pressure using elite performance assessments.

This three-layer selection process is why our experts consistently outperform typical agency placements.

Step 3

Fast Onboarding and Deployment Once selected, the expert is briefed on the project scope, the client’s internal team, reporting expectations, and delivery milestones. We handle all contractual, administrative, and logistical coordination, such as NDAs, subcontractor agreements, travel, on-site access, so the client receives a professional who is ready to contribute from day one.

Step 4

Ongoing Coordination We do not hand off and disappear. Throughout every engagement, Nerdmation provides:

Weekly reporting:
Detailed worksheets tracking hours, tasks completed, and project progress, delivered directly to client project leads.
Schedule management:
We maintain and update expert schedules in real time, adapting to changes in scope, timeline, or team composition.
Communication layer:
Our project coordinators serve as the operational link between the client and the expert, handling day-to-day logistics so both sides can focus on the technical work.
Invoicing and administration:
Completion certificates, subcontractor payments, client invoicing: all managed by our team so there is no administrative burden on the client.

Step 5

Delivery and Continuity When a project concludes, we handle offboarding and knowledge transfer. If the engagement extends or evolves, which it often does, we scale the team up, rotate specialists, or adjust the scope. Many of our client relationships span multiple years and multiple projects. That continuity is by design, and reflects client satisfaction.
