For
Experts

You are not looking for a recruiter. You are not looking for someone to manage your career. You have already built the skills, done the projects, and proven you can deliver in environments where most people cannot.

What you are looking for is better access to the right work; that means complex projects, serious clients, fair terms, and the freedom to keep doing what you do best without the overhead of selling yourself or chasing invoices.

That is what Nerdmation provides.

What We Offer

Access to projects you will not find on job boards. Our clients are multinational automotive manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers, and industrial machinery companies. These organizations do not post their engineering needs on freelancer platforms. They come to us because they need experts they can trust, vetted, prepared, and ready to deliver. When you are part of the Nerdmation network, you get access to these opportunities directly.

We handle everything that is not engineering. Contracts, NDAs, invoicing, worksheets, travel coordination, client communication, scheduling: we take care of all of it. You focus on the technical work. We handle the business side.

You choose what you work on. We do not assign you to projects. We present opportunities that match your skills, interests, and availability, and you decide what is right for you. If a project is not a fit, you say no. It is that simple.

You are treated as a professional, not a resource. We built Nerdmation because the traditional model, where engineers are managed as headcount and measured by hours logged, does not work. It burns out good people and produces mediocre results. Our approach is different: we select experts who want to be on the project, and we give them the support and autonomy to do their best work.

Who We Are Looking For

We do not work with everyone. Our network is deliberately selective, currently over 400 experts from 13 countries. We are looking for professionals who meet these criteria:

Deep technical expertise in automation (PLC, robotics, SCADA, HMI, commissioning), enterprise software, data engineering, or related fields.

Proven project experience in complex industrial or enterprise environments, not just theoretical knowledge, but hands-on delivery.

Independence and reliability. You can walk onto a client site, understand the situation, and start contributing without hand-holding.

Communication skills. You will be working with project managers, internal engineers, and sometimes directly with client leadership. Clear, professional communication matters.

Motivation. This is the one thing we cannot teach. We are looking for people who find genuine satisfaction in solving hard technical problems, not people who are just looking for their next contract.

How It Works

  1. You get in touch. Tell us about your background, your technical focus, and what kind of work you are looking for.
  2. We have a conversation. Not an interview, but a real conversation about your experience, your working style, and what motivates you.
  3. If there is a fit, you join the network. We will present relevant opportunities as they come up. You decide which ones to pursue.
  4. We handle the rest. Contracts, logistics, administration, and ongoing coordination, all managed by our team.
